Policy Statement

Staffordshire Operator Training is committed to ensuring that a high level of customer service is provided for all disabled users and acknowledge a responsibility to comply with disability legislation.:

• Staffordshire Operator Training entirely supports the fair treatment of trainees, employees and visitors with disabilities and is also committed to promoting the interests of those people with special needs.

• Staffordshire Operator Training will make known to centre users the disabled facilities available by various means available, such as signage, web site etc.

• Staffordshire Operator Training will endeavour to seek advice from varied disability groups to expand the understanding, as well as specific requirements for our trainees, visitors and employees. Where possible, we will involve representatives from the disabled community in any future developments that may affect the access or our facilities.

• Staffordshire Operator Training welcomes feedback from trainees with special needs, and where possible, adjustments may be made to accommodate any subsequent request.

• Staffordshire Operator Training is fully committed to offering fair employment opportunities for disabled persons and will ensures that employees with disabilities have equality of opportunity to develop to their full potential with the company.

• Staffordshire Operator Training will regularly monitor and review its own, as well as any business partners progress to ensure compliancy with DDA guidelines.

• All buildings will be inspected to ensure that access and facilities comply with all disability legislation
